I spent this morning wandering through Alcalá la Real with a Spanish friend, listening as he spoke about Spain's history and culture. I took this picture when we paused on a hill along the eastern edge of the town. Later, his wife packed me an excellent potato and mayonnaise sandwich (trust me) for the 2 hour bus ride back to Córdoba.
