Benicàssim's beach is, according to my wife, the Platonic ideal for a beach. It's quiet, with soft sand, plenty of space to spread out, and a shoreline not too far from the boardwalk. And along the beach, they've built several jetties that keep the waves and currents more manageable. The above picture was taken from one of these on a calm February afternoon.
