We lived in Bloomington, IN, for a couple of years while my wife finished her undergraduate studies. We still enjoy visiting the town to see close friends and to walk around a bit——it's sort of the Platonic ideal of a Midwestern university town, with all of the cultural tensions and delights that the idea implies.
