I am posting this picture out of order, chronologically. The EXIF data is wrong, so it autosorted as if it were on June 11, 2016, early in the morning, but I know I was in Chicago that day and not in Benicàssim, Spain. I was able to find other photos of this parade, and it should be dated Sept 19, 2015.
We were new to the town, and one afternoon as we stepped out onto the sidewalk, we were confronted with a whole line of processional giants and cabezudos or "big heads." It was a delightful introduction to a town we will always love.
