I wanted a photo of what I've called the LaSalle Street Bridge, and of the stunning Marina City Towers.
While pulling up the map to locate where I was when I snapped this picture, I discovered there's a website with a fair amount of information on Chicago's Loop Bridges (of course there is), and that this bridge is also dedicated to one of Chicago's chief engineers for much of the 20th century, hence the alternative name.
I'm linking the site on bridges because it seems like the sort of rabbit hole I'll enjoy diving down sometime soon.
