We were in Umag, Croatia for a conference related to our work. On arriving, our team leadership let us know they were leaving Spain, and in addition, they had made several choices without giving us any warning that made it impossible for us to continue with that project after their departure. And if the project ended, that would likely mean another move for us——something I don't think either of us wanted. We spent several hours that week walking and talking, and I took the above photo during one of those walks.
