After returning to Spain, I had some in-country travel that took me through Valencia. (Valencia is by far my favorite city in Spain.) In the train station, they were displaying a number of classic cars, and I couldn't avoid taking a picture of this beautiful, yellow SEAT 850 Sport Spider.
About two months later, we would finally purchase a car in Spain, which was also a SEAT, though not nearly as slick nor nearly as yellow. But, according to my wife's research, the model she wanted had the most available trunk space for a station wagon at the time, and we had a second kid on the way, so that's what we went for. Full credit to SEAT, it worked like a charm for the next 7 years, and I'd happily buy another, though I'd rather have the model pictured above.
