It took me a bit to find which bridge I was standing on for this photo, but I'm certain I have it properly pinned. We were in Venice Beach visiting some good friends who were building a solid business out of wedding and family photography. This was my first and so far only visit to Venice Beach, but it proved disorienting to see in person a number of places I had only seen on film or television. I had a similar experience in New York City a few years later. It was another reminder of how narrow the lens can be.
